About Firebird Holdings
Firebird Holdings was founded by Danielle Martin. Firebird is currently founder-led while its organizational structure, programs, technology, and governance systems are being developed.
Firebird Holdings is structured as a company developing for-profit operational infrastructure. The long-term model is intended to support the creation of mature programs that may later be transferred to qualified local nonprofit organizations.
Firebird should not be represented as a tax-exempt charitable organization unless that status is formally established and publicly confirmed.
Infrastructure includes the systems behind a functioning program, such as:
- Staffing and supervision
- Policies and procedures
- Safety and incident systems
- Resident records and reporting
- Technology and communication
- Referral workflows
- Facilities and operations
- Compliance and quality controls
Firebird is currently in development. It is not yet operating an open shelter campus, accepting residents, or providing emergency placement.
Confirmed milestones will be published on the Progress & Updates page .
Programs and locations
No. Firebird's adult campus model is still being developed. No location should be considered open until Firebird announces an operational address, opening date, eligibility process, and referral procedure.
No. Youth campuses are part of Firebird's future development plan. Youth programming would require specialized policies, staffing, licensing, safeguarding, education partnerships, and age-appropriate services before opening.
Firebird has not publicly confirmed an operating address. A possible location should not be treated as final until property, funding, approvals, insurance, staffing, and operational readiness are confirmed.
Firebird's planned adult model is intended to recognize that separating couples can create additional instability. Final accommodations, eligibility rules, safety policies, and room or bed arrangements will depend on the actual campus.
Firebird's planned model is focused on stabilization and transition rather than permanent residence. Length of stay may vary based on funding, individual needs, housing availability, program policies, and referral agreements.
Eligibility and placement
No. Firebird is not currently accepting resident referrals, placement requests, applications, or confidential client records.
Do not send Social Security numbers, medical records, identification documents, or protected client information to the founder email.
The final intake model has not been established. Firebird currently anticipates coordinated referrals from approved agencies and providers, but future campuses may use different referral or access methods depending on contracts and local requirements.
Potential future referral partners may include counties, hospitals, behavioral-health providers, treatment programs, outreach teams, veteran organizations, housing providers, schools, and community nonprofits.
These categories do not imply that Firebird currently has formal agreements with any specific organization.
A future referral may require basic identification, housing status, referral source, current services, immediate safety needs, accessibility needs, consent, and other information necessary to determine program fit.
The exact information will be limited by applicable privacy, consent, contract, and program requirements.
Firebird's developing technology platform
ShelterNow is Firebird's developing operations platform. It is intended to help authorized organizations manage beds, resident records, assessments, case work, tasks, incidents, communication, referrals, reporting, and multiple campuses.
No. ShelterNow remains in development and is not currently offered as a public production platform.
ShelterNow should not currently be represented as HMIS-certified, HMIS-compliant, or a legally compliant comparable database.
Firebird intends to evaluate and build toward applicable HMIS and comparable database requirements, including required data elements, multi-stage data collection, security, reporting, and access controls.
That is part of the planned design. ShelterNow is intended to support organization-level administration, multiple campuses, role-based access, and separation of records between authorized organizations.
Firebird may develop secure referral tools for approved partners. Any such access would require appropriate user permissions, privacy protections, agreements, audit records, and security controls.
Employment and volunteering
No open positions are currently posted. A position should only be considered active when Firebird publishes a formal job description, compensation information, qualifications, location, and application instructions.
Visit the Careers page for future updates.
You may send a general career-interest message, but it is not a formal application and does not guarantee an interview, consideration, retention of the resume, or future contact.
Do not send Social Security numbers, banking information, passwords, identification images, or sensitive medical information.
Firebird does not currently operate an active campus volunteer program. Future volunteer opportunities may be created after roles, supervision, screening, training, insurance, and safety procedures are established.
Future positions may include campus leadership, resident support, case management, behavioral health, safety, facilities, technology, compliance, finance, administration, and community partnerships.
Donations, partnerships, and involvement
Only use an official donation method published by Firebird. Before contributing, review whether the payment is a charitable donation, company contribution, sponsorship, investment, or other type of support.
Do not assume a payment is tax-deductible unless Firebird clearly states that it is being received by a qualified tax-exempt organization and provides the appropriate documentation.
Firebird welcomes conversations with counties, healthcare providers, nonprofits, employers, educational organizations, housing providers, technology professionals, and community groups.
An introductory conversation does not create a formal partnership. Formal relationships may require written agreements, insurance, data protections, defined responsibilities, and approval by each organization.
Firebird is not currently operating a public supply drop-off. Unrequested items may create storage, safety, transportation, or disposal problems.
Wait for a published needs list or contact Firebird before purchasing or delivering goods.
Visit the Progress & Updates page for confirmed milestones, current development work, and future roadmap information.
Information, emergencies, and public contact
No. Do not send confidential client files, medical records, Social Security numbers, identification documents, passwords, or other sensitive information through ordinary email.
Firebird will publish approved secure processes if and when referral or record submission becomes available.
No. The Firebird website and founder email are not emergency-response, crisis, dispatch, medical, or shelter placement services.
In an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate local crisis provider.
Firebird intends to use role-based access, secure authentication, minimum-necessary access, audit records, staff training, written policies, retention rules, incident response, and applicable privacy agreements.
Final protections will depend on the data, operating program, applicable laws, funding requirements, and technology used.
Contact Firebird at founder@firebirdholdings.org and describe the page, problem, device, browser, and any accessibility support you need.
Plans may change as development continues.
Some answers describe Firebird's intended future direction rather than current operations. Program design may change because of funding, property, licensing, legal requirements, contracts, community needs, staffing, technology, or safety considerations.
